Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ADDER Technologies(“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you visit or interact with this website. This policy describes our practices so you can make informed decisions about your information.

1. Who We Are

This website is operated by ADDER Technologies, a Toronto-based IT services and managed solutions provider. We have been serving small and medium-sized businesses across Ontario since 2012. This Privacy Policy applies to this website and any associated domains operated by ADDER Technologies.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Information you provide directly: When you submit a contact form, request a quote, or reach out to us, we collect the information you voluntarily provide. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, company or organization name, how you heard about us, your message or notes, a summary of the pricing options you configured, and a preferred callback day and time.
  • Automatically collected information: When you visit our website, we may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile data: Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam. This service may collect interaction data to verify that you are a real visitor.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your inquiries and providing requested services
  • Storing and managing your inquiry, where you have given consent, so we can follow up
  • Communicating with you about our services, including follow-ups and support
  • Preventing spam, fraud, and abuse of our website
  • Improving our website functionality, performance, and user experience
  • Complying with legal obligations and protecting our rights

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience. These may include:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the website to function properly, such as security tokens and session management.
  • Cloudflare cookies: Used for security, performance optimization, and bot detection.

You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

5. How We Store and Retain Form Submissions

When you submit a form on our website, the information is sent to our application interface hosted on Cloudflare and emailed to our team (via Cloudflare's email service) so we can respond to you. Where you provide your affirmative consent — for example, by checking the consent box on our contact form or detailed pricing request — we also store your submission in a secure database (Cloudflare D1) so we can manage and follow up on your inquiry.

Some optional requests do not include a consent checkbox — for example, the quick “send me this estimate” callback request in our pricing calculator. We use the details you provide to action and respond to those requests (including by email), but we do not store them in our submissions database.

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Stored form submissions are retained for a reasonable period to allow us to respond and follow up on your inquiry, after which they are securely deleted or anonymized.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL
  • Cloudflare Web Application Firewall (WAF) and DDoS protection
  • Regular security assessments and monitoring
  • Access controls limiting who can view personal information

While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-Party Services

Our website uses the following third-party services, some of which may receive or process your data:

  • Cloudflare: Website hosting, security, performance optimization, spam protection via Turnstile, email delivery of form submissions (Cloudflare Email Sending), and secure database storage (Cloudflare D1) for form submissions you consent to archive.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage (such as page views, referrers, and performance). It is privacy-first and does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not fingerprint you or track you across other websites.
  • Google Maps: Our contact page includes an embedded Google Maps widget to display our office location. When the map loads or is interacted with, Google may collect technical information such as your IP address and device data. We do not control or have access to this data. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy (opens in new tab).

Cloudflare acts as a data processor on our behalf and is contractually obligated to protect your information. Google Maps is a third-party service that operates under Google's own privacy policies and terms of service.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 11: Contact Information below. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

10. International Data Transfers

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare's global network, which means your data may be processed in countries outside of Canada. Where data is transferred internationally, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

12. Changes to This Policy

For material changes that significantly affect how we collect, use, or share your personal information, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you directly (for example, via email or a prominent notice on our website) before the changes take effect. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
